SPIDER-MAN CLIMBING SUIT

So if we make a gloves which has small hair like structures which is only a few nanometers thick, then there is a chance, that we could climb the wall like spider-man.

The few nanometers thick hair will increase the surface area of contact, increasing the Van Der Waals force. This force will oppose the force of gravity, hence climbing the wall.

But the problem is that we can't make structures (hairs) this small.

And to oppose gravity, we should cover 80 per cent of our front of our body with these small hairs to climb, this means that we should crawl on the wall to climb. This might never look like spiderman.

Do not loose your hope, because.....................................................................

There is still a chance to climb like spiderman using only our hands and feet, I will tell you about this in my next post.
