HOW WAS THE UNIVERSE FORMED?

Hello friends, today I am going to post my first topic about :-

"HOW  WAS THE UNIVERSE  FORMED OR THE BIG BANG THEORY"

The big bang theory

Some of the sub-topics that I will introduce to you are :-

1) About The Word 'THEORY'

- From where did the word 'THEORY' came from?

- Meaning of Theory.

2) About the big bang theory

- Who proposed the big bang theory and when was it proposed?

- What is the big bang theory?

3) Is the universe expanding?

 - Will big bang happen again? If yes, then how?

ABOUT THE WORD 'THEORY'

The word 'Theory' was derived (came) from a Greek word

Theory means a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something.

In simple words it means that a idea which is used to explain something, it is only a expectations or suggestions of scientist, for example from where did the earth got water but we don't know really because we were not there, we can only guess according to the proof which was left behind.

ABOUT THE BIG BANG THEORY

The big bang theory was first proposed in 1931 by a physicist called  Georges Lemaitre. In this theory he states that the universe had formed from a singularity this means that all the things in the universe was in a small point and which then exploded forming the universe, this explosion is called the big bang.

IS THE UNIVERSE EXPANDING?

And from that day of  the explosion the universe started to expand, the universe is still expanding but after billions and trillions of years it will stop expanding and will start to collapse due to the force of gravity or may continue to expand due to a unknown force or there will be no expansion or collapse into singularity. I will soon tell about this unknown force in my future posts.

In the left you can see the explosion (the big bang) and as you move to the right you can see that the universe is expanding.
